Sarrosa International Hotel

 Date/s of Stay:

September 22 (1 night)

Location:

Ayala access road (axis), Kasambagan, F. Cabahug St, Cebu City, Cebu

Same as with Castle Peak, not too many commercial establishments around.

Lobby:

Very big and a little confusing. Front desk, restaurant and elevators on different corners of the lobby.

Check-in:

It was long, especially with the queue of guests and only one front desk staff.

Staff & Service:

Only interacted with the beautiful front desk staff with awesome tattoos.

Room Type/Description:

Check out my short video of the room.

Restaurant/Room Service:

Only tried the food in the reception I attended. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Check-out:

It was fast.

Comments:

Had a hard time looking for snacks outside the hotel. A lot of food choices but walking distance, and kinda dangerous to walk during evenings.

Castle Peak Hotel

Date/s of Stay:

July 2022 (1 night)

Location:

F. Cabahug St, Cebu City, Cebu

It is on one of the busiest streets in the city.

Lobby:

Lobby was okay, kinda dim and a little gloomy.

Check-in:

It was VERY fast since I already had prior reservations.

Staff & Service:

Not really interacted with a lot of them, but the front desk staff were okay.

Room Type/Description:

The room was okay. Don't remember much because I fell asleep immediately, wasn't even able to take videos.

Restaurant/Room Service:

Didn't try. Brought food from the outside.

Check-out:

It was as fast as checking in.

Comments:

It's quite far from commercial establishments so I don't really recommend it, except if you just want to stay inside your room during the whole duration of your stay.

Yello Hotel

 Date/s of Stay:

September 2022 (1 night), December 2022 (1 night)

Location:

Wilson St, Cebu City, Cebu

The location is okay, though there aren't too many food choices nearby. There's JY Square Mall but there's not much in JY after regular hours except a hidden 7-Eleven and a McDonald's.

Lobby:

It's small but modern.

Check-in:

One of the fastest except the filling in of Info using their Tablet.

Staff & Service:

Staff at the hotel are good, but big shoutout to Ms Juliet, their Marketing Officer who has been very patient and responsive with me in our email interactions.

Room Type/Description:

Check out my short video of the room.

Restaurant/Room Service:

We only tried the free breakfast, and it was a yummy Filipino breakfast.

Check-out:

Relatively fast.

Comments:

I love the fact that I was able to bring food bought from outside, or have food/drinks delivered outside the hotel. And a big plus was the bathtub! My daughter enjoyed it.

One Central Hotel

 Date/s of Stay:

June 2022 (3 nights), July 2022 (3 nights), August 2022 (2 nights), November 2022 (2 nights), December 2022 (1 night), February 2023 (2 nights), March 2023 (3 nights), June 2023 (2 nights)

Location:

I'm kinda torn about the location. It's at downtown Cebu, and literally beside Emall which is good because it's so near the supermarket, pharmacy, and a lot of food choices. But also, since it's at Downtown, it is also kinda dangerous especially during evenings.

Lobby:

The lobby is elegant and huge, but it's at the 9th floor with only 2 busy elevators (one time, only 1 was working) working the whole building.

Check-in:

If it's the hotel staff, it's relatively fast. If it's an intern, expect a slow check-in.

Staff & Service:

Good so far.

Room Type/Description:

Check out my short video of the room. It's basically the same type of room in all my stays there so far.

Restaurant/Room Service:

Only tried it once. Food is good, same as other hotels.

Check-out:

If you'll check out during the usual hours, expect it to be a long wait.

I usually check out early in the morning, and relatively fast.

Comments:

One good thing I love about this hotel is that I can bring food from the outside.
